Claudine would bend her wings inside out if it meant she could explore everywhere and everything. She desires most for battles, adventure, and something worth towards working for in life. Adventure means everything to her, to the point where she would skip education classes from her parents to try flying the skies when she was a Hatchling. She is very quick on thinking up solutions and strategies in fights, despite not being powerful herself. Claudine is pretty fast for a dragon her age, soaring high into the skies and deep into the depths of the mountainsides with sleek speed. Almost teeth-grinding determined to seek what she desires has caused her to get into some trouble as a Hatchling and when she got older. But that same determination is what many dragons would see in a good soldier, she believes.

After a dangerous and near fatal encounter months after she became an Apprentice, Claudine's past self has significantly dwindled down into a more alert dragoness. She is still considerably fast, but because she slacked off initiallly with Grace, she is by no means a graceful flyer. However, despite this, her speed and quick thinking was what saved her life by mere scales. Even when she's not flying, Claudine can sprint on both her hind legs and on all four feet.

Going from being highly stubborn and rebellious, down to a dragon who fears for the very lives of others and wishes for those who care for her to never risk their own life for her, Claudine has drastically shifted the tables on who she is. She both cares and fears the lives of others, and how one can easily have it taken away from them. Even while handicapped, Claudine is almost annoyingly caring and trying to please Grace, staying up late to take care of things Grace would be too tired to do but Claudine can manage. Even though it's damaging her own body in the end, Claudine believes her life is never going to be worth dying for, and that if she dies doing what she's trying to do, then that's all that matters, along with keeping others as happy as she possibly can.

While being trapped, it appears Claudine's sense of alert and danger increased, and she is always on her toes. This is both a positive and negative aspect, given the fact that she can barely sleep in the first place nowadays. But she also has an odd churning in her stomach when she feels like something is a bit off...regardless if it's for the good or for bad. It's a sense she and others don't quite understand yet...


Whatever she is positively, she has negative aspects of her that can sometimes one up those. Sometimes rude to those who get in her way of adventuring, Claudine doesn't appreciate those who try to put a collar around her and make her 100% obedient and thus she rebels; a lot. Her family has tried to ground her, but the method is always tricked around by Claudine's smarts. She truly desires open space, freedom, and feels she'll obey only those who deserve such in their heart and soul. Very few times does authority stance and even power of authority matter to her. Whenever she argues, she can be a very cold dragon by pinning out the negative traits and cold reminders to her foe. However, despite everything she may say and/or proclaim about being strong in fights, she's actually not. Claudine is not a very strong dragon physically wise because of living up in the colder parts of Cautes' mountains. Her flames are something to laugh about, her ability to even lift up a bolder even more

Due to several incidents that all clashed at once and she couldn't take it mentally or physically, Claudine now sometimes will literally collapse and start to cry uncontrollably. She feels like she's being watched all the time, and that a dragon will turn around and attack her. Because of this sad thought process she's picked up on, Claudine is now struggling with insomnia, being startled out of her sleep so terrifyingly that she either sobs herself into hysterics before passing out, or refuses to go back to sleep. She's tried to give this up, and hide it from her mentor and other dragons, but it's becoming so bad that she sometimes passes out from exhaustion in the hallways.

If you run your claw up her spine, Claudine will scream and run off; even if you're just teasing her. Claudine can't stay still if she feels so nervous and fear induced. She is always looking behind her back, profusely apologizing, and keeping her body posture low to the ground. Almost as if she's proving she's the weakest and that everyone is higher then her.

Claudine no longer sees herself better then others. Rather, it's far worse; and in the other direction. She fails to see anything good about herself after nearly dying and realizing how weak she was. She's always questioning her actions, and why Grace keeps her around if she's so depressive and a negative thundercloud around everyone. This is what she wonders. She has a hard time looking past it and hearing the love and truth in others' voices for her. Being so abrasive and narrow-minded at the beginning, Claudine now loathes and hates herself, but can't find the will to just end it. She doesn't know why, and has even locked herself away from others on some days to keep them "safe from a scumbag like her". Nights are cried to sleep, and mornings are awoken crying, if she even got any sleep at all. It's a personality trait Claudine wants to get rid of, but doesn't know how to mentally let go when she truly believes she's nothing.

Unfortunately, Claudine is not the strongest in the group. She can't breath fire anymore. Her will to burn flames from her stomach has been reduced to mere smoke trails. What Claudine doesn't know is that this is because she's so self-doubting and sad, as well as her body is still ill and trying to recover. She can't fly currently without feeling immense pain in her right wing due to her new, still recovering wound.

Hatchling
Born to Apalla and Chusi of Cautes, Claudine was the weakest out of the two eggs birthed from her parents. Her older sister was the shining eye in their eyes that was born several months before Claudine's egg was birthed. Her life was mostly an average one, despite living in a colder section of the mountainsides that borderlined in Cautes and to the outside world. Early on, Claudine always tried to climb the cave walls of her home like her sister could do, but many trails of error in this attempt caused her to hurt her wings more than once. The boredom of constantly being kept away inside of the cave while either one - or both if the situation was that dire - of her parents were out hunting.

One day, Claudine had enough, and wished to visit the outside world to its full content. She knew she was forbidden to go out further than the perch that served as a landing section for her parents to come into the cave. Claudine also knew her wings were still not developed well, but she had her dewclaws and hindclaws to help her climb. After her parents had gone out together to retrieve food, Claudine jumped at the opportunity and snuck out of the cave, much to her desperately scared sister, who feared of the outside world like most Hatchlings should at their age.

Climbing may've been hard for Claudine, however she pushed herself, and miraculously made it to the peak of the mountain she and her family lived under. The sight of the endless mountains and open space made something in the Wyvern's little chest open up; the desire, the almost sickening urge to go out farther, do and see everything she could in her life.

Thus, Claudine made it her goal.

Apprentice
Over the years of sneaking out and trying to going out more past her mountain home, it can only happen so many times before one gets caught. And it was the day Claudine started to fly. Her parents had left and she had gone out, even conning her sister to come with after insulting her in being a "shaky frog-leg". The two started learning how to "branch" on the mountainside with their father earlier, however, Claudine felt she was ready to actually fly. And fly she did.

Both of them rose to the highest mountain peak within a few miles from their home and decided to go for it. Because she didn't wish to be seen as week, Mayberry, Claudine's sister, dropped first, the cold wind currents of the crisp early spring morning causing her to work harder to fly, however she was successful. Claudine went second, but was intercepted by another, hunting dragon. It was rare for any dragon to hunt on another dragon, however the dragon that attacked Claudine was a rogue and rules didn't matter to him as he charged and attacked her.

Frightened and angered beyond belief, Claudine tried to protect herself as they fell, nearly killing herself when she pushed herself away from him and hit against a rocky pillar spewing out of its mountain. She caused a rock slide while she desperately flapped her wings to get back up into the air. After several long, heart stopping minutes, Claudine made it over to her sister, who happily commented on Claudine's ability to fight back and then fly away.

However, it caused their parents to hear it and catch them. Angered and hurt to find out that Claudine was stubbornly sneaking out everytime they left to hunt now, the girls' parents decided to ground her. However, Claudine felt something during the fight; adrenaline coursing through her body, the thrill of fighting, running, flying. it was all too much to simply sit around and let her parents control her. Annoyed, stubborn and determined, Claudine quickly left the cave under her mother's eye. Her mother tried to catch up to her, however Claudine was a fast dragon, and quickly swerved away and off into the skies. This happened over and over and over again, each time she using a different way to get away from her parents, who were starting to spoil Mayberry with all their love and leave Claudine to the dust. Wanting nothing more of her family if they were going to keep "puppeteer'ing" her, Claudine ran away from home and off to the center of the kingdom, a part of her hoping that she could prove how much she meant and desired..


Claudine was encountered by Grace, who is the current Sovereign of Cautes Kingdom. At first, Claudine was hostile and didn't know who she was, but after debating over her offer to become Grace's apprentice, Claudine reluctantly agreed.

But, even so, she was by no means a good student.

Claudine was considerably a slacker, and a rude one at that. At first, she played nice and did as orders went, but, after several weeks, Claudine started to ditch class and be quite the cold shoulder to Grace, not caring -- even worse, not even acknowledging -- Grace was her teacher and the Sovereign of her homeland. She would deliberately trail off from a patrol with Grace or Quinn, the now former Deputy, and try to find new areas to fly around in.

Then, everything changed.

After getting up earlier then Grace's sleeping schedule would've wanted, Claudine sneaked her way out of the cave in which both dragonesses resided in. She flew to, unknowingly, a forbidden part of the lands. These lands were still not fully known about and didn't exceed to Grace as a safe place. Claudine had no idea and started flying about, only to encounter the one dragoness she thought she would never see again.

Mayberry.

However, the reunion ended up in a bittersweet end. Mayberry insulted and degraded Claudine so fiercely and coldly, proclaiming she would never have anyone that would care about her or risk their life for, that Claudine herself snapped and lunged. The fight was brutal, both dragonesses receiving wounds in it. However, Claudine got the worst of it, due to being so clumsy and weak. Before Mayberry could kill off Claudine, a boulder toppled down on top of Claudine, breaking her left arm, and dragging her into the depths of a ragging rapid stream.

Claudine came to in a further unknown portion of the mountainsides, only to be chased in a high speed and incredibly dangerous pursuit by a rogue dragon. She managed to open her wings up and glide her way around and through the canyons of the mountains. Right when she thought she could get back to the center portion of the kingdom, where Grace was, the rogue dragon got to her, latching his powerful teeth onto her right wing tissue.

He ripped the large whole that Claudine currently has in her wing, causing her to nearly fall down to her death. But, miraculously, through the pain Claudine stayed afloat and dove into a tiny cave in which the larger rogue dragon could not fit into.

Claudine tried to get out, but being so injured and weakened over the lack of psychical strength, it was useless. She was trapped. Here, Claudine's mind slowly broke into a million pieces, and she collapsed as she had breakdown after breakdown over the next three days, realizing that Mayberry was right, and that she was truly weak. No one would come to her saving. No one deserved to. And that she was going to die.

Here, Claudine was stuck for nearly a week and a half, somehow managing to stay alive. However, during this, whole process, she had fallen critically ill, her bleeding wing becoming infected and her now set-back-in-place shoulder in dire need for medical attention. Luckily, she heard a familiar, feminine roar calling her name outside of the cave...(to be continued~)

> The tattoos on Claudine's body were given to her after she became ready for Apprenticeship by her parents.
    ->After becoming so ill, Claudine's body has paled considerably, and her arm tattoos dried up and fell off with her dead scales. Now, her arm tattoos are of a slightly more different design, thanks to her scales regrowing back and having the ink embedded into them.
> Claudine's scales usually are unique because she's a richer tone of color than her sister or parents are, who all hold the dull graying colors of the mountains
    ->Currently, Claudine is incredibly pale and in a weakened state where it's not healthy by any means.
> Her hind paws serve as not only her attachment to rock when climbing, but also to do in general things, such as picking up items, pushing things around, and even lifting them. She can even write with them.
