Father-Daughter DanceLife is like a flashlight; one moment it's blinding you in the eyes, annoying, obscuring your view of reality. The next second, it's darkness, no way out and no way in almost. Dazed, we walk in a path we deem ours, some of us better sensing at it than others.
As time goes, things change. But I feel entrapped in cement, watching as others' lives grew to that of the better. Sure, my dream of becoming something important took work, and I did it, but I had no partner to have in support. My eyes fill with sullen shame in myself, seeing dreams others growing apart from me, and vice versa.
